The other day I encountered a woman that took the phrase “come by anytime” almost too literally.
She won this contest and was to come by anytime to pick up her prize by our receptionist “anytime”.
I work In a downtown office building so for starters you’d think that they’d get the picture, right?
I enter the building at 1pm one day and find someone trying to get in. As a tech worker I don’t the slightest idea where prizes are so she gets mad at me saying we should be more clear.
First off, how many firms have you ever heard of in downtown staying open on the weekend?
Which leads me to this next item, guy sees me leaving for break tries to get into our keycard only by just slipping through.
