Well, it’s safe to say this was the plan all along but “This Is It”, the new Michael Jackson film/documentary will be staying in theatres much longer.
After taking over a hundred million dollars at the box office, the two-week film event will be staying in theatres until at least Thanksgiving Weekend.
I’m not sure if that was the plan all-along, perhaps the “limited time film event” tagline was meant to save the producers embarrassment in the chance that it failed. Also, I’m sure that any creditors are just sitting and laughing in the wings waiting for the cash to roll in – while remembering his spirit mind you.
This isn’t his first foray into film, his most infamous role – not memorable so that doesn’t include his cameo in Men in Black 2 – has to be Moonwalker.
