TIFF wrapped up on the Saturday, low-key (thanks recession!) but still a big year but some big names did wind up popping by – including watching every reporter go gaga for Oprah. All I ca say is good for Toronto, hopefully some of the citizens of Toronto got to see the films this year.

Some FOX anchor in New York (for the local FOX affiliate) is in some hot water. And apparently it’s the newest internet thing. In case you’ve been under a rock (that’s why this report was created). I’m surprised Uncle Rupert hasn’t thrown a fit but he’s not what I’d call the most dignified media conglomerate. Just ask Esquire Magazine why they want to have a drink with him…
The Emmy’s are tonight, we’ll try and have a blurb up about that tomorrow. Can it suck even further? Can NPH pull it from the depths of where it was last year? Remember the row about them pre-taping portions of the writing awards? Not happening.
Attention Sk8er Boi’s, do you remember Avril Lavigne? Or her husband from Sum 41? Well, to those that are still trapped in 2003-2005, they are getting divorced. Whatever happened to that movie they were going to make based on that song?
