The Calgary International Film Festival is starting starting today and running until October 4th.  Last night was the opening night gala with Crackie opening the festival and a fashion shoot taking place.  If you are in the Calgary area, check it out.  Some really great films will be there.  Find out more at www.calgaryfilm.com

Today I was out in Downtown Calgary.  Downtown Calgary is a very odd beast.  From 7am to 6pm it’s full, vibrant, makes you feel part of a great city.  Once the workday ends though, Prypiat is probably more lively a place than this 20-block radius.
