Well, with the recent cancellation of Reno 911! fresh in our minds, it’s time to take a moment to think back on what great fun was had, courtesy of the Reno Sheriff’s Department.
Well, to be honest I’ve only watched into Season 2. I recently got the DVD of Season 1 a few weeks ago and I laughed my ass off. There were parts that weren’t fall of my seat funny, but were still funny nonetheless.
Then I started looking for Season 2. I looked everywhere and it was hard to find/not anywhere in Calgary. I grabbed Season 3 because I figured that it would also be hard to find. I kept looking and I thought I got it, only to discover that I had purchased Season 5. Undeterred, I even took a trip to Toronto just to find it.
Okay, I didn’t go there just for that. In fact, I didn’t actually get to hit up any big HMV’s out there. But alas, last week I purchased Season 2 and watched a few episodes.
Then the show got cancelled. For the many fans of the show who have watched religiously I feel for you. Studio 60 was a favourite of mine and we lost that far too soon. However, I still have close to 70 episodes that I’ve never seen before. Oddly enough I watched the movie before the show and I’m going to wait until after I finish the run before I watch it again.
I’ll finish the run before I make any remarks as to whether or not the show should’ve gone on or not.
